Day 01
Welcome to India. On arrival in New Delhi, you will be greeted by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02
After breakfast, proceed on a sightseeing tour of New Delhi.
Drive along the Ceremonial Avenue for a captivating view of the city's modern treasures including Parliament House, Rashtrapathi Bhavan, Teen Murthi Bhavan, Rakabganj Gurdawara, and view from outside the Qutab Minar. Visit the 4th Century AD Ashoka Pillar nearby, a metallurgical masterpiece that has withstood 1600 years without rusting even a bit!

Afternoon sightseeing of Old Delhi.
Visit the Juma Masjid, Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandhi's memorial), Shanti Vana and the magnificent Red Fort. The Red Fort, built by Emperor Aurangzeb, was surrounded by a 9m deep moat (now empty) fed by Yamuna river. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03
After breakfast, leave for Delhi (290 km, about six hours drive). On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Evening free for shopping. Overnight.
Day 04
Day for jungle activities. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 05
Early morning, drive to Corbett National Park (290 km, about six hours drive). The Corbett National Park shelters Over 50 mammals, 580 birds and 25 reptile species have been listed in the Corbett National Park. The insect life is also astounding, noticeable especially after the monsoons. But the pride of the Corbett is clearly the Indian Tiger. It was estimated that in 1984, the tiger population was 90 in this park. Evening, jungle trekking. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Note: Corbett National Park is closed between mid-June and mid-November).
Day 06
After breakfast, drive to Mandawa (300 Kms, about six hours) where you will stay at the Castle Mandawa (Heritage) or similar. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 07
After breakfast, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Mandawa, which includes the Shekhawati region and havelis. See the murals in the rugged fort itself built in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh. Also visit the Goenka Havelis, the Ladia Havelis and the Saraf Havelis (1870), which are interesting for its beautiful frescoes.

Afternoon, drive to Jaipur (168 kms … three hours drive). On arrival check into your hotel. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 08
After breakfast, we will take an excursion to Amber Fort, situated on the top of a hill, and overlooks the Maoti lake, which reflects it terraces and ramparts. Ascend the hill on a richly caparisoned elephant. Once at the top, you can admire the myriad of palaces within the fort complex. Of particular interest are the Sheesh Mahal, faced with mirrors and seen to full effect when lit by a match and Sukh Niwas - a pleasure place with a marble watercourse to cool the air around.

In the afternoon, a tour of Jaipur visiting the City Palace, Hawa Mahal and the Astronomical Observatory (Jantar-Mantar). Stop at the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds from where the ladies of the Royal household could watch the everyday life of the city. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 09
After breakfast, drive to Ranthambore National Park (165 km, three and a half hour drive). On arrival, check in at the Lodge. Late afternoon, embark on a jungle safari accompanied by a naturalist in the Park. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 10
The Park encompasses an area of over 400 square km and is dotted with a number of water holes and lakes. Home to the increasingly elusive Indian tiger, other residents included chital, Nilgai, jackals, panthers, jungle cats and extensive wild fowl.

After breakfast, safari in the Park. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at the Lodge.

Day 11
After breakfast, leave for Bharatpur (190 km, four hours drive). On arrival, check in at your hotel. Afternoon, a quick visit of the bird sanctuary also known as the Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary, covers an area of 29 sq kms.

It is a marshland, one of the finest bird sanctuaries in the world with over 360 species of birds. Its famous for the migrating Siberian Cranes which arrives every year but in very few numbers, Among the many other birds to be seen are egrets, ducks, coots, storks, kingfishers, spoonbills, sarus cranes, laggar falcon and spotted eagle. There are also chital deer, sambar, nilgai, hyenas and also very large rock pythons. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12
Early morning, embark on another jungle safari. Later, after breakfast, drive to Agra (40 km, about an hour) visiting en route Fatehpur Sikri, a testimony to the remarkable character of Emperor Akbar. This abandoned and deserted city is over 400 years old yet perfectly preserved. Visit the Royal Palace, Jama Masjid and Buland Darwaza (41 m high gate).

Continue the drive to Agra. On arrival check in to the hotel. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13
After breakfast, visit the Taj Mahal, eternal and extravagant monument expressing enduring love of the Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Ethereal and resplendent, the Taj is a reflection of the joy of love and the pain of parting, changing its character as the light changes during the day Constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, it took 22 years to be built by 20000 workers from India and central Asia. Also visit the Agra Fort. Overnight.
Day 14
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure. Check out of the hotel and transfer to Delhi (203 km, four hours), then to Indira Gandhi International Airport for your flight back home. Leave Delhi with fond memories of your trip to India.
