Arrive at Trivandrum and transfer to Kovalam the most seducing

Drive down to Cape Comorin
enroute visiting Padmanabhapuram Palace. Cape Comorin, where the three seas
(Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean) meet. Visit Kanyakumari temple,
Vivekananda Memorial - an island rock dedicated to Swamy Vivekananda, Gandhi
Memorial, and head back to your resort in Kovalam. Evening at your hotel.
Drive to Alleppey and board on houseboat
(kettuvallam) takes you through the backwaters. Kettuvallam has a drawing
room, living area, a bath-attached room, kitchen and a sundeck. Overnight
at your houseboat.
Full day at leisure. Enjoy the mirror-still
lagoons, palm-fringed canals and the shimmering rivulets.
Drive to Paravoor, a nearby town and check in at hotel
Aquaserene. Aquaserene is situated in the back
waters of paravoor lake and has a very panoramic view. Rest
of the day at leisure.
Early morning, drive to Periyar through
some spectacular scenery. On arrival, check in at the Cardamom County .the
rest of the day is at leisure with overnight at the hotel.
Early morning boat-ride
on Lake Periyar in search of game. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of India's
largest wildlife reserves where the jungle of evergreen forest and elephant
grass provides shelter for a large variety of animals and birds. Wildlife
that is often spotted on the banks of the lake whilst cruising includes elephants,
wildboar, sambar, wilddog, langur monkey, and a large variety of reptiles.return
to the hotel for breakfast. Afternoon, visit the spice plantation and shops
in the Kumuli village. Overnight at your hotel.
After breakfast, depart on a sightseeing
tour of Cochin by boat. Owing
to its fine natural harbour, Cochin has been called the 'Queen of the Arabian
Sea' and occcuipies a stunning location between the Arabian Sea and the backwaters.
Christian, Arab and Jewish settlers, and traders from the court of Kublai
Khan, and the Dutch, Portuguese and British have all played a part in creating
Cochin's varied heritage. A tour of Cochin reveals these influences of the
Jewish synagogue, Matancherry Palace and the cantilevered Chinese fishing
nets swaying in the breeze over the backwaters. The afternoon is spent at
leisure. Overnight at hotel.
