Traditional Indian welcome
The warmth of Indian hospitality and the custom of welcoming guests is as old as the time itself. On arrival, as you step into the hotel, ladies in traditional local costumes greet you with flowers & perform the "aarti" ceremony. After having your forehead anointed with traditional red "tikka" relax with non-alcoholic welcome drink.

Moghul theme
Go back to the historically fabled world of the great Moghuls. "Chobedars" (gate keepers) usher guests to the "daawat-khana" (dining room). Hostesses clad in silken, flowing "shararas" (skirts) and "chunnis" (veils) welcome the guests with flowers and "attar" (perfume) in the traditional style. Flamboyant folk dances herald a sumptuous spread of Moghlai delicacies served in a manner befitting royalty.

Village Fair theme
A village setting is created with bamboo huts, benches and stalls. Villagers mingle with the guests and display their traditional skills such as doll-making, puppet-making, pottery, "pichwai", painting and other crafts. Entertainment includes a "bandarwala" staging a monket show, a palmist, a snake charmer, "kachi-ghodi and dhamal" (a performance with a dummy horse, dancers and singers). After a splendid dinner, a fascinating display of fireworks brings a memorable evening to an end.

Special dinner at Nishat Baug or Roe's retreat
Buffet cum sit-down dinner is laid while you enjoy varieties of cuisine and traditional 'sitar' music and Indian dances entertain you.

A Picnic to remember
This theme conjures up the spirit of a Mughal camp set to celebrate a battle victory. On the lush green lawns of the Taj Khema, a tableland overlooking the famous Taj Mahal, colourful 'khemas' (decorated tents) are set up. Guests are welcomed by soldiers attired in costumes of the Moghul synasty amidst fanfare that befits a victorious warrior. Relax on mattresses laid out on the lawns while Moghlai delicacies are served. Local artisans display their skill while musicians and dancers perform.

Visit to the Taj Mahal
Visit the Taj Mahal by rickshaw. All the rickshaw pullers wear a vest with the logo of the incentive company. The Taj, one of the seven wonders of the world, built by Emperor Shah Jehan as a mausoleum for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal, in white marble, is a universal symbol of love.

Magic Show
A local magician will perform magic tricks in the hotel before dinner.
