On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
In the morning visit the Gateway of India, a monument
built to commemorate the visit of King George V. Then, proceed to Rajabai
Clock Tower of Gothic architecture, Marine Drive, Kamla Nehru Park, Hanging
Gardens, Crawford Market, Chatrapati Shivaji terminus and the Prince of Wales
museum. Evening free.

In the morning, leave for Kumarakom (+/-3.5 hours). In
the evening, take a backwater cruise through shimmering rivulets, and palm
fringed canals.

In the morning drive to Periyar (220 kms +/- 4.5 hours),
which lies in the shade of the Cardamom Hills and is a beautiful area of tranquil
winding roads, tea gardens, rubber estates and Spice Plantations. Late afternoon,
game viewing on Lake Periyar. The Periyar Wild life Sanctuary was one of the
earliest sanctuaries to be set up in 1934. It extends to 777 square kms. and
forms a part of the high mountain ranges, the Western Ghats. Animals such
as wild elephant, bison, deer and interesting bird life can be seen while
cruising on Periyar Lake in a motorboat.

In the morning transfer to the airport for your flight
to Cochin. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.
In the afternoon you will drive to the Historic city of Fort Cochin - Ancient
capital of the Dutch, Portuguese and finally the British. Visit will include
the old spice market at Mattancherry, the antique shop on Jews Street, the
Synagogue, Dutch Palace and of course the Church of St. Francis where the
mortal remains of Vasco Da Gama were buried before it was shifted to Portugal.
Stop to watch the ancient Chinese fishing nets .

In the morning, leave for Marari Beach.
(+/- 2 hours). The Marari Beach is a paradise of sun, sea, sand and surf.
