In the morning, visit Old Delhi visiting the Juma Masjid,
Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandhi memorial), Shanti Vana and the magnificent Red Fort.
The Red Fort built by Emperor Shah Jahan is surrounded by a 9-m deep moat
(now empty) fed by the river Yamuna.
Tour New Delhi this afternoon. Drive along the Ceremonial Avenue for a view
of Delhi's modern treasures including Parliament House, Rashtrapathi Bhawan,
Teen Murthi Bhawan, Rakabganj Gurudwara, a 20th century marble shrine. Also
visit the Qutub Minar and the 4th century AD Ashoka Pillar, a metallurgical
masterpiece that has withstood 1600 years without a trace of rust on it!.

Morning leave for Agra (232 kms). Enroute visit Fatehpur
Sikri, a city built to commemorate the birth of Akbar's son, now deserted
but still in a state of perfect preservation. Visit the Royal Palace, Jami
Masjid and the Buland Darwaza (41m high gate).

This morning, we will take an excursion to Amber Fort,
situated on the top of a hill, and overlooks the Maoti lake which reflects
it terraces and ramparts. Ascend the hill on a richly caparisoned elephant.
Once at the top, you can admire the myriad of palaces within the fort complex.
Of particular interest are the Sheesh Mahal, faced with mirrors and seen to
full effect when lit by a match and Sukh Niwas - a pleasure place with a marble
water course to cool the air around.
Afternoon - city tour of Jaipur visiting the City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Observatory
(Jantar Mantar). The City Palace houses the Mubarak Mahal faced in white marble
in center of the large courtyard, the Textile and Costume museum, Arms and
Armour museum, Diwan-I-Khaas (Sarbato Bhadra), Diwan-I-Aam (Diwan Khana) Art
Gallery and museum.

Morning leave for Jaipur by surface (258 kms). On arrival,
check in to hotel. Rest of the day free to explore the "Pink City"
or shop around in the colourful bazaars.

Morning visit Taj Mahal - one of the
seven wonders of the world built by Emperor Shah Jehan as a mausoleum for
his queen Mumtaz Mahal in white marble - it is an universal symbol of love;
Agra Fort containing the Dewan-e-Khas and Dewan-e-Aaam. Its walls and palaces
are silent witness to the rise and fall of the imperial Moghul Empire; Moti
Masjid (Pearl Mosque), Jasmine Tower. Afternoon free.
