Headquartered in Bombay, UVI has a wide network of professionally managed offices in 12 locations in India. In all the small and remote locations where UVI does not have a branch of its own, an associate agent or sub-agent renders the services. A network of more than 20 such agents & sub- agents is also a part of our network.

Is there a list of tours I can choose from?
 
First we recommend that you go through 'TOURS', which includes some popular holidays that we have been selling very successfully since a long time. If however you feel that these tours need to be fine-tuned to coincide with your flight schedule, and if you need to add or reduce a night in any city, then you must send us your request and our travel experts will get back to you shortly with necessary changes and the amended tour cost.
   
Do I need to register to book a Tour package?
 

Yes, you need to be a registered member of uviholidays.com before you can book a Tour package. Registration can be done online or through application to contact@uviholidays.com.
Registrations are FREE on the site. Your profile will not be shared with other marketing or sales companies.

   
How do I book a Tour package at uviholidays.com?
 
Click on the Tours icon. Select the itinerary you want, and click on the 'Book Now' icon & send your requests on our e-mail. We'll respond to you immediately.
   
How do I pay for the Tour?
 
You needn't pay anything online initially. The Tour Cost as given in your Final Billing for FITs can be paid 15 days prior to departure by Bank Transfer to our Account and 30 days before the arrival of the groups. However, sometime we need to pay out money in advance to block rooms in small hotels which do not entertain travel agents, to buy train tickets, to pay for reserving berth in trains like Palace on Wheels, Royal Orient etc. In this case, we would insist on a percentage of the tour as an advance payment much ahead of our normal payment schedule. We will advise you at the time of booking. We reserve the right to cancel any / all services to a client in case the members fails to remit the funds prior to the client's arrival into that destination.
   
What if none of the tours listed on the site suit my client's requirements? Can Uviholidays.com tailor-make a tour for me?
 
You could choose the 'TAILOR-MAKE YOUR TOUR' icon wherein you will be able to send us your requests and we will respond with prices and detailed _________ immediately.
   
What if some of the Hotels mentioned in the itinerary are not available?
 
As far as possible, we will try and offer the same hotels as mentioned in the itinerary. However, it may so happen that a hotel may not be available during the customer's proposed period time of travel. In such a case, the Company will provide suitable alternative accommodation of similar category and standards to the client. If accommodation in that category is not available, then accommodation in the next best category will be offered, and the benefits of any savings in prices on account of this, will be passed on to you.
   
What is the cancellation deadline and how much are these charges?
 
The cancellation deadline is 72 hours prior to the check-in for FITs and 30 days for groups of 15 and above. It may be longer depending upon the policy of the individual hotel. In case of cancellation or No-show, a one-night retention charge will be levied after the deadline.
   
I plan to travel for a short duration. Which place do you suggest?
 
Uviholidays.com offers some specific packages. In addition, you have the 'Tailor-Make your tour' feature wherein you can design your client's tour by yourself. Should you want us to offer suggestions you can contact us at sales@uviholidays.com.
   
I want to visit a city / destination that is not listed on your site. What should I do?
 
Should you want to visit a city / destination not currently displayed on our website, please send an e-mail to us at sales@uviholidays.com. We will try and organize it for you. Allow upto 48 hours so we can send the information to you.
   
I am not interested in an itinerary complete package. All I need is Hotel reservations and transportation. Can I book only these requirements?
 
The tours mentioned in the website are inseparable. However, if you require only hotel and related transport services, you can visit our section Confidential Tariff and click on the icon. When you select the hotel, the option of transfers, a city tour and excursions close by are also offered.
   
Is it possible to book only hotel accommodation since I am coming on business?
 
If you are only looking at accommodation options and not a full fledged tour or a holiday, then you may click on 'HOTELS' or Confidential Tariff, and we have attractive prices which we enjoy with various hotels. If the hotel or the accommodations you want are not listed on the site, then simply send us a mail at sales@uviholidays.com and we will get back to you at once with relevant details.
   
If I book a vacation package that includes meals, how many meals am I entitled to?
 
Check to see what your package specifies. If the package mentions
'EP' or European Plan. It means room only. No meals are included.
'CP' or Continental Plan. Also known as BB or Bed & Breakfast. Includes only breakfast.
'MAP' or Modified American Plan. Also known as HB or Halfboard. Includes breakfast and one meal. This may be either lunch or dinner.
'AP' or American Plan. Also known as FB or Fullboard. Includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
   
What are my room options if I plan to travel alone?
 
Normally vacation package tariffs are on the basis of double or twin occupancy. If you are traveling alone you will be given a room to yourself - called single occupancy where in addition to the per person price, you pay a single room supplement
   
I am taking a complete tour. A friend wants to join midway. Can uviholidays.com arrange this?
 
Yes, we can make these arrangements. Please e-mail your requirements to sales@uviholidays.com and give us your address and telephone numbers. A Customer Service Executive will contact you about the arrangements and the costs.

How do I make a Hotel reservation at uviholidays.com?
 
Click on Hotels. You will be asked to select a city, category of hotel and budget. A cross-section list of hotels will be displayed. You could view the details and click the Book Now icon against the hotel you have selected. It's simple, really. We will update you via e-mail with the status and advise you of the payment and delivery details. Further, if you require transfers or a city tour or an excursion, you can select the 'Additional services' icon for a list of transport services offered in that city.

uviholidays.com has a vast selection of hotels ranging from 3 star to 5 star and even 7 star deluxe properties all over India.
   
Do Hotels offer late night check-in times?
 
Yes, you can request a late check-in at the time of your reservation by advising us of the flight details, and we will convey the message to the concerned hotel. There would be an additional charge as most hotels have check-in / checkout at 12 noon.
   
Will I get charged for an extra person in the room?
 
Most hotels allow two adults per room. Hotels allow three adults in one room at the payment of an "extra bed" charge. Usually upto 2 children below the age of 12 years are allowed to sleep in their parent's room at no extra cost provided that they share the parent's bed. Meals for children from 5 to 12 years will have to be paid for as extra. If the child(ren) are not sharing the parent's bed and instead an extra bed is required for the child(ren), the extra bed charges will have to be borne as extra.This policy may differ with each hotel. The extra bed may be a bed of folding, pull-out design or a mattress depending on the hotel. Hence in some hotels, conditions may be cramped.
   
Can I book a hotel close to the airport?
 
Let us know your special requests in the online Booking Reservation Form. Our Customer Support Executives will work on your request and advise you of the confirmation by e-mail.
   
Will I get charged for canceling my Hotel reservation?
 
Most hotels charge a cancellation fee if you do not cancel within their stated timeframe. uviholidays.com delivers the hotel's specific policies to travelers with their original confirmatory e-mail. Information regarding cancellation fees issued by the hotel will be included in that e-mail. Generally all hotels have a cancellation policy of minimum 24 hours. If not adhered to, you may get penalized up to one-day retention charge. The only exception to this is during Trade Fairs, when the penalty may be as high as the full booking amount.
   
How do I change my reservation?
 
If you want to change your reservation, you will have to e-mail the Customer Support department at uviholidays.com and state the change you require. Do keep in mind the cancellation deadline. The reason why we suggest that you make a new reservation before canceling the previous one is because uviholidays.com has no control over Hotel room availability. For any further assistance e-mail us at customerservice@uviholidays.com.
   
I've forgotten my username and / or password. What should I do?
 
Just e-mail your request to admin@uviholidays.com Be sure to tell us either your User ID or the Password or any booking that you had given us earlier. We will find your profile and create a new User ID and Password. The new User-id & Password will be mailed to your external e-mail account.
